Diyala University honored by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education for its contributions and excellence

Diyala University received a letter of thanks and appreciation from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, in recognition of its significant and distinguished efforts in various scientific, administrative and service fields, and its active contribution to serving the community and advancing the higher education sector.
This honour came after a series of achievements by the university through its various departments and the integrated performance of its staff, which earned it the attention and official appreciation of the ministry in recognition of its continuous development approach.
In this context, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for this generous gesture, affirming that it represents a motivation to stimulate the institutional march towards further excellence.
He added: “We are honoured that Diyala University has received this ministerial recognition, which we consider a message of pride in the efforts of all our staff who have proven their dedication and excellence in performing their educational and research mission and serving the community. While we commend His Excellency the Minister’s appreciation and support, we affirm that this honour is an incentive for us to continue the process of construction and development in the service of our country and our university institutions.
The President of the University emphasised that this success would not have been possible without the integrated work and high spirit of belonging that characterises the members of Diyala University in their various positions, leaving their mark on the Ministry’s progress and making the University a source of official appreciation and pride.
This honour is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), which promotes the quality of educational institutions, Goal 16 (Strong Institutions), which supports the building of effective and efficient universities, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for Development) by strengthening the institutional relationship between the University of Diyala and the Ministry of Higher Education, thereby contributing to the development of education and supporting academic energies.
