Under the sponsor  of Prof. Dr. Abbas Fadhil Dulaimi, president of the university, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Haidar Shakir Mezher, dean of the faculty, Department of Computer organized with co-operation with supervisors on sound laboratory in college (identifying training course for laboratory multimedia and languages) for staff members at the college , the course lectured by Dr. Firas Mohamed aswad , and  head of translators Essam Sarhan Thiab, and Engineer mzaihem Sarmad Hussain

the course aims to the definition the staff members the possibilities for electronic  and multi-language media laboratory , and what is available as  modern technology programs for conversation and sound in English, French and videos as well as provide studio that enables a professor of editing his lecture,  recording and learn the teaching staff how to use it and lecturing the students of under-graduation study and post- graduate

Mentions that the college of basic education  got this free grant from the repubilc of South Korea, represented by constructing (Laboratory for voice and Linguistics) in electronic technology keep pace with modern scientific and technical development in international universities. The grant has direct in co-operate by the University of Diyala and the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education in the republic of South Korea

mentions that the lab is one of (15) Laboratory distributed throughout Iraq in the universities, but the college of basic education had a leadership in getting it and at the university colleges level
