Diyala University, Basic Education College holds a scientific symposium about academic freedom in Iraqi Universities.
The Arabic Department in Basic Education College of Diyala University has held a scientific symposium about academic freedom at Iraqi universities between reality and expectation via electronic cycle with participation of many lecturers.
The symposium, which was delivered by Asst. Inst. Ahmed Sadiq, aimed at clarifying the meaning and the importance of academic freedom; it is the pulsing heart of the academic establishment and one of the basic pillars that the prosperity of universities rely on.
In addition, the symposium included discussion five pivots: the first discussed the concept of the academic freedom, the second discussed the basis of academic freedom, while the others clarified the independency of universities.
