Mr. Head of the University Holds a Meeting

In the presence of the President of Diyala University, Prof. Dr. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, the Department of Media and Government Communication at Diyala University held today, Tuesday, 29/10/2024, an expanded meeting with the officials of the media divisions in the faculties of the university to discuss the mechanism of media performance in the university, its formations and ways to improve it.
During the meeting, Mr. President of the University emphasized : The need to open up to the various media to market the university’s products and its scientific and research activities in order to serve the community in the province and all of Iraq, and highlight the development projects carried out by the university with the available material capabilities, calling for the inclusion of media professionals working in the media divisions in specialized training courses in order to gain experience and media skills and benefit from them in developing the media institution and the news industry, indicating the importance of the media and its role in academic institutions as one of the influential forces in modern culture and influencing human life and that its role is similar to that of the leadership of the government.
