The College of Basic Education, Mathematics Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled (Student Discipline Laws on Campus) with the participation of a number of teachers and students of the first stage
The workshop, which was lectured by the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali Murad, and the Rapporteur of the Department, Dr. Shaker Mahmoud Salman, in the presence of the Assistant of Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Rahman Al-Arki, and the Assistant of Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jalil Saba.
To clarify the rules of student discipline on campus for the first stage students
At the beginning, the head of the department welcomed the new students and wished them success in their university life, while Prof. Dr. Wissam Jalil Sabaa touched on several points, the most important of which is the preservation of state property inside and outside the classroom, while Prof. Dr. Omar Rahman Alarki talked about a number of directives related to student discipline on campus.
The workshop included a discussion of several axes. The first axis included the directives of the head of the department, including urging students to adhere to attendance, not to be absent, follow up on lectures and assignments, adhere to the lecture time, and avoid cases of cheating. The second axis included clarifying the law of student discipline on campus before and emphasizing to stay away from behaviors and behaviors that lead to punishment of the student, and the third axis included honoring outstanding students for morning and evening studies for all stages for the past year, and recommended the workshop for first stage students to abide by the laws and directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and avoid acting
