The Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala discussed the master’s thesis entitled (The impact of the silent sentences strategy on the achievement and integrative thinking of first intermediate students in Arabic grammar). In the specialization of Arabic language teaching methods.
The study presented by the student (Walaa Moneim Shihab) aimed to know the impact of the silent sentences strategy on the achievement and integrative thinking of first intermediate female students in Arabic grammar.
The study recommended the need to adopt the strategy of silent sentences as one of the modern strategies that contribute to raising the level of achievement of female students and developing their linguistic, mental and intellectual abilities, and to hold training courses by the Ministry of Education and educational institutions for Arabic language teachers on the use of modern teaching methods and strategies, including the strategy of silent sentences, as well as the inclusion in the Arabic language curriculum of activities that contain students’ thinking and motivate them to use thinking in general and integrative thinking in particular.
The study suggested conducting a study similar to this study for other grade levels in teaching other branches of the Arabic language such as reading, texts, literature, expression and rhetoric, as well as conducting a study of the impact of the silent sentences strategy on the achievement and logical thinking of second grade female students in Arabic grammar
