From Diyala to the world

Teaching opens up new horizons for Iraqi higher education with the publication of international cross-border research
As part of efforts to promote scientific research and activate the role of academic staff in international publishing, and in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to open up to international universities and exchange knowledge and scientific research, Professor Faleh Abdulhasan Owaid, a lecturer in the Department of Science at the College of Basic Education at the University of Diyala, in collaboration with a group of researchers from the Islamic Republic of Iran, in publishing his scientific research entitled:
“Design and Standardization of a Scale for Measuring Foresight Skills in Iraqi Higher Education”
in the international Journal of Management, Education and Development in the Digital Age, with the participation of the distinguished research team: Nour Naim, PhD student, Department of Educational Administration, Azad Islamic University, Isfahan, Iran; Ali Khalhal, Department of Educational Administration, Azad Islamic University, Tonkabon, Iran; and Prof. Dr. Faleh Abdulhasan Owaid, Professor, Department of Science, Faculty of Basic Education, University of Diyala, Iraq, and Mahboub Sadat, Department of Educational Administration, Azad Islamic University, Isfahan, Iran.
This scientific achievement comes within the framework of enhancing the status of research and activating the role of academic cadres in international publishing, in line with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to open up to international universities and exchange knowledge and scientific research.
Through this achievement, the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala affirms its commitment to supporting scientific research projects and motivating its teaching staff to contribute to scientific research production at the global level, thereby enhancing the faculty’s presence in international forums and raising its academic ranking.
For its part, the faculty dean, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ayman Abdul Aoun, praised this scientific excellence, considering it evidence of the tireless efforts made by faculty members to raise the academic and scientific level of the faculty and enhance its presence in international research circles.
This achievement is also in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education, as the research contributes to the development of tools for measuring educational skills and future capabilities in Iraqi higher education, thereby raising the quality of education and stimulating scientific research and innovation.
The college affirms its continued support for researchers and its commitment to providing an appropriate scientific environment for international publication, in line with its vision of achieving leadership in higher education and scientific research.
