College of Basic Education participates in the Victory and Peace Day Festival held by the University of Diyala

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Under the Sponsored of the President of the University of Diyala, Professor Dr. Abbas Fadil Al Dulaimi, the University of Diyala held the Victory and Peace Day Festival on the playgrounds of the  Physical Education and Sports Sciences College. The participation of our College in festival was represented by attendence of Assistant Professor  Dr. Haidar Shaker Mezher, Dean of the College and Dr. Wissam Jalil Saba, Dr. Hassanein Naji Hussein and Dr. Uday Karim Rahman with a group of students of the Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Geography Department who participated in the performance of sporting events of festival.

The festival started with the Reading of Surat Al-Fatihah in honor memory of the souls of the great Iraq martyrs, followed by the Iraqi national anthem.

Several artistic and sports events were held, including the marathon for the categories of 40 years and above for a distance of three kilometers .

The festival was held Concurrently with the victories of our brave armed forces and the popular Mobilization heroes ( Al-Hashd Al-Sha'abi) and our security forces heroes . which  liberated Iraq's land from the terrorist organization .
