An elite of lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science at COBE / UOD, Assistant lecturer (Amjad Muhammad Wahhab) with the participation of Professor Dr. (Maha Muhammad Salih) and Assistant Professor Dr. (Amal Sobeih Salman) . obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control for their invention to design a device To measure the strength and speed of the straight and side punches for young boxers .

 

This device works to recognize the strength and speed of the punch while punch the device directly, and the device is characterized by non-interference from the controller and thus it is characterized by a high degree of objectivity unlike the traditional tests that are self-assessed by the controller (the trainer), as well as It provides accuracy in measuring the strength and speed of the punch, and the absence of an error percentage in recording the calculated time and recording the strength.
