Diyala University Stands with Gaza
The Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala organized a solidarity stand with the Palestinian people to express the solidarity of the Iraqi people with the people of Palestine and their valiant resistance to achieve victory over the Israeli enemy, in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasser Rashid, and his assistant for student affairs, Prof. Dr. Omar Abdulrahman Al-Arki. The Dean of the College delivered a speech during the solidarity stand in which he emphasized the solidarity of the Iraqi people and all its sons, and the educational family in the college, including employees, teachers and students, in standing with the violations suffered by the Palestinians due to the brutal Israeli occupation, while this aggression continues on the Gaza Strip in Palestine, and imposes a blockade on water, electricity and fuel, stressing that this stand is a stand of pride and pride for the heroism embodied by our brothers in occupied Palestine. The stand, in which the college students, teachers and employees participated, included the Iraqi national anthem, the reading of Surat Al-Fatiha for the martyrs of Gaza, poetry activities for students, raising Palestinian flags, and banners supporting the right of the Palestinian people to freedom and independence, stressing the Iraqi people’s standing with the Palestinian people and their pride and pride in the victories of the Palestinian resistance and its heroes who embodied epics of heroism and redemption, calling on the international community to assume its responsibility for the crimes committed by the Israeli enemy against the Palestinian people and support their right to independence of their country. The solidarity participants pointed out that the Palestinian cause is always and forever their cause until they achieve full victory over the Zionist aggression and liberate all Palestinian lands from the brutal occupation and express their keenness to end this unjust occupation of the Arab State of Palestine.
