The Dean of the College Hold a Meeting with the Arabic Language Department

On Sunday morning, 10/11/2024, the Deanship of the College of Basic Education / University of Diyala held its first meeting with the Head of the Arabic Language Department and its teaching staff at Al-Aqsa Hall.

The meeting began with a welcome by Mr. Dean of the College to the faculty and the department head.

The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Nasser Rashid, pointed out the importance of the Arabic Language Department with its history and scientific values and its role in supporting the educational process in the college, and he also pointed out the need for concerted efforts from all teaching staff in the department in order to continue the successes achieved, and he also emphasized the commitment to the articles and instructions contained in the University Service Law of 2008 regarding the duties and tasks of the teacher.

Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Baqi Abbas, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, pointed out during his speech to the reality of scientific research in the college and the proportions of the departments in publishing scientific research in international and local journals and discussing the works of enriching teachers, in addition to discussing the activities of the departments and the implementation of the government program, and concluded his speech about the scientific researcher program google scolar and update teachers’ pages and be accurate in filling in the data.

Prof. Dr. Omar Rahman Hamid, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, pointed out the need to pay attention to the reality of lectures and develop the educational and ethical aspects in dealing with the student, who represents the main element in the educational process, and he also referred to the observation material and how to calculate the grade, passing through talking about the application and graduation research and the need to periodically follow up on the teachers.
