The College Council Takes Place
This morning, Monday, 18-11-2024, the Council of the College of Basic Education held its regular session under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasser Rashid, and in the presence of the members of the Council.
He started the meeting by welcoming the members of the council, wishing everyone success in performing their duties to serve our college and ensure the success of the scientific process.
He also directed the need to work in a team spirit to maintain the scientific status
The meeting discussed the directives of the Honorable President of the University about receiving new students for the first stage, meeting them and guiding them by the guidance committees of the departments.
The meeting also discussed the support of the student sports club and community service activities. During the meeting, it was emphasized to audit the curricula and update the sectoral ones in line with the added subjects
The organization of study schedules was discussed, and emphasis was placed on adhering to the quorum and the hours scheduled for each week for official attendance and working according to the instructions of the university service and the number of hours required … and attention to the cultural and scientific activities of the teacher and the inclusion of new teaching staff in the appointment with teaching masters of higher scientific titles to gain experience and adapt to this situation.
Emphasizing the commitment to the university calendar and adhering to the timelines for that.
They also discussed the activation of the POS electronic payment card for college students during the coming week.
It was also emphasized to complete the meetings for the teachers of the college departments by Mr. Dean.
At the conclusion of the session, the meeting discussed the follow-up of the work of the divisions and units in the college and coordination between them in order to achieve efficiency in performance and effectiveness in work and also discussed a number of administrative and financial issues of the college.
