
A Meeting with Science Department
The Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasser Rashid, and his scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdulbagi Abbas, held an expanded meeting with the teachers of the Science Department The meeting began with a welcome by the Dean of the College to the teachers of the Science Department
The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Nasser Rashid, pointed out the importance of this scientific department with its history and scientific values and its role in supporting the educational process in the College of Basic Education, and pointed out the need for concerted efforts from the teaching staff in this department in order to continue the successes achieved, and he also emphasized the commitment to the articles and instructions contained in the University Service Law of 2008 regarding the duties and tasks of the teacher and adherence to ministerial instructions in order to contribute to the development of academic performance.
In his speech, Mr. Dean stressed the importance of attention, commitment and discipline to the timetables, whether for official attendance and the need to pay attention to the reality of lectures and the development of educational and ethical aspects in dealing with the student who represents the main element in the educational process.
Prof. Dr. Haider Abdul Baqi Abbas, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, pointed out during his speech to the reality of scientific research in the department in publishing scientific research in international and local journals and discussing the writings of enrichment teachers, in addition to discussing the activities of the department and the implementation of planned programs.
The Dean concluded his speech by emphasizing the deanship’s support for the department and keeping its doors open.
