The College Council Meeting Takes Place
This morning, Wednesday, 8-1-2025, the Council of the College of Basic Education held its regular session under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasser Rashid, and in the presence of the members of the Council
He started the meeting by welcoming the members of the council, wishing everyone success in performing their duties to serve our college and ensure the success of the scientific process
He also directed the need to work in a team spirit to maintain the scientific status achieved by the College of Basic Education. The meeting discussed the directives of the Honorable President of the University about the results of the national classification and presented during the meeting the results of the national classification of the college departments and reviewing the classification criteria for institutional performance and performance of departments, the performance rate of scientific departments, and humanitarian departments, and the unsatisfactory results of the departments.
Accordingly, the unsatisfactory results of the college’s departments were identified and accordingly, the points of deficiency were identified and work in the coming period and through the formation of a working group that works to overcome the defects to improve the results commensurate with the scientific status of the College of Basic Education.
They also discussed the final exams for the first semester of the first stage and the preparation of its requirements for the period and emphasizing the commitment to timing and monitoring.
The meeting also discussed the scientific committees and their evaluation of the lectures, especially the new appointments and the continuous follow-up by the special scientific committee for each department, as well as the conditions met for scientific promotion.
At the conclusion of the session, the meeting discussed the follow-up of the work of the divisions and units in the college and coordination between them in order to achieve efficiency in performance and effectiveness in work and also discussed a number of administrative and financial issues of the college.
