A Meeting about the National Classification
The Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasser Rashid, in the presence of his scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdulbagi Abbas, held a meeting with the members of the National Classification Committee for all scientific departments.
The meeting aimed to:
- Discuss the recent results of the national classification and the path of institutional and programmatic accreditation for the college to promote and develop the status of the college.
Many important topics were discussed, the most important of which were:
Following up on the action plans proposed by the Quality and Performance Committee.
Evaluating the performance of the college in various fields, including scientific departments.
Identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the college and scientific departments.
Developing plans to improve the performance of the college and scientific departments in areas that need development.
Cooperation between all concerned parties to ensure that the best results are achieved.
He also emphasized the need to prepare a comprehensive self-assessment report that reflects the reality of the college and scientific departments accurately and clearly, and defines its future path towards excellence.
The Dean of the College praised the efforts of the committee members, and stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between all concerned parties to ensure the success of the institutional and programmatic accreditation process for the college
The Scientific Associate stressed the importance of working on the strategy to achieve what is required within the national classification plan and move our college towards better positions by upgrading the scientific and service reality in it and extending bridges of communication with all institutions to provide service to the community, stressing the importance of reviewing the mistakes of the current results and avoiding them in the future to advance to advanced positions for the national classification.
