The College Council Takes Place
This morning, Monday, 21-1-2025, the Council of the College of Basic Education held its regular session under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasser Rashid, and in the presence of the members of the Council
He started the meeting by welcoming the members of the council, wishing everyone success in performing their duties to serve our college and ensure the success of the scientific process.
- The meeting began by honoring Mr. M. Dr. Zuhair Hussein Jawad was honored with the college shield for ending his duties as head of the Department of Science to be replaced by Dr. Dr. Nawar Thamer Mohammed
- Discussing the evaluation of experienced professors in the departments by the scientific committees and assigning them duties, especially scientific conferences and their committees
- Discussing the activities of the college and the positive results of these activities and the college obtaining the first place and appreciating the efforts of the scientific collaborator, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdulbagi Abbas. Dr. Haider Abdulbagi Abbas for this achievement and his follow-up of the divisions and units of the Scientific Assistant Department.
- Discussing the development of some of the college’s departments as required by the labor market and the introduction of postgraduate studies
- Discussing the results of the college students, success rates and announcing the results
- Discussing the first stage exams to be their exams starting from 2/16/2025 to 2/27/2025
- Discussing the application form for the fourth stage students and the distribution of the student’s score in accordance with the quality assurance of the evaluation.
- Discussing the application for accreditation for some departments and hosting Ms. in charge of the Quality Assurance Division and reviewing the criteria for this.
At the conclusion of the session, the meeting discussed the follow-up of the work of the divisions and units in the college and coordination between them in order to achieve efficiency in performance and effectiveness in work, and also discussed a number of administrative and financial issues of the college.
