
Diyala Basic Education College conducts Vienna lab tests
Diyala Basic Education College conducts Fina lab tests in cooperation with Al-Amal Institute for the Deaf and Dumb in the governorate Within the framework of community cooperation and strengthening partnership with specialized educational institutions, the Faculty of Basic Education, through the “Fina” laboratory, conducted a series of practical tests at the Al-Amal Institute for the Deaf and Dumb, for doctoral student Ahmed Adnan Hatroush under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rana Abdulstar Jassim for his thesis entitled “The impact of educational units according to the visual teaching strategy in motor synergy and learning some basic skills on the floor movement mat in artistic gymnastics for students with deaf and dumb disabilities”. In the specialization of teaching methods of physical education and sports science, under the supervision of specialized cadres from the college and with the participation of a number of students. These tests aim to evaluate the effectiveness of devices and software for people with hearing and speech needs, which the Fina Laboratory is working on as part of its projects at the college to develop education and communication tools for people with disabilities. The work supervisors emphasized that “this cooperation comes within the framework of the college’s commitment to support all segments of society and apply scientific projects in their real-life fields, which contributes to improving the quality of services provided to this important segment.” The tests witnessed a remarkable interaction by the educational staff at the institute, who praised the step and considered it a distinguished initiative in supporting and enhancing the technical capabilities available to deaf and dumb students. For her part, the Director of Al-Amal Institute for the Deaf (Maryam Ali Abbas) and the Director of the Department of Special Needs Rights, Mr. Kahtan Jadwa Nayef, expressed their readiness for scientific cooperation that serves this segment of society.
