Basic Diyala expands its research horizons with qualitative scientific visits to faculties of physical education and sports sciences and returns with the Baghdad University Shield and Asshur publications
The Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education at Diyala University, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayman Abdul Aoun, received a delegation of postgraduate students (Master’s – preparatory year) from the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at our faculty, accompanied by Professor Dr. Maha Mohammed Saleh Al-Ansari and a select group of faculty professors.
The delegation participated in a distinguished scientific activity that included attending a scientific lecture by Professor Dr. Sabah Qasim Khalaf, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Baghdad. In appreciation of this active participation by our faculty, the Dean of the University of Baghdad presented the university’s shield to the Dean of our faculty as an expression of his high appreciation for this active participation.
The students also paid a scientific visit to the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at Ashur University, where they were received by Prof. Dr. Sareeh Abdul Karim Al-Fadli, Dean of the Faculty, who presented a collection of his recent books specialising in the field of sports to the Dean and the Faculty Library in support of the scientific process.
These visits took place this morning in the Dean’s office. At the end of the meeting with the esteemed Dean, he expressed his joy and gratitude to everyone who participated in this activity and contributed to the exchange of experiences, and emphasised the importance of openness between our college and Iraqi colleges in developing the educational and research system. On the other hand, all those present confirmed that this experience had enriched their knowledge and contributed to broadening their scientific horizons.
