The study presented by the student (Haider Ahmed Najm) aimed to identify the impact of educational units according to the sequential linear system in the cognitive speed and learning some basic skills in futsal for students, as well as identifying the preference of the sequential linear system and the method followed in the cognitive speed and learning some basic skills in futsal for students.
The study reached a number of conclusions: The educational units in the sequential linear system have a positive effect on increasing the cognitive speed of first grade students, the variety and multiplicity of exercises led to the acquisition of the four search skills (rolling, handling, suppression, and scoring) and then stabilizing and improving them, and the suitability of the exercises in the educational units according to the sequential linear system to the age and level of the students’ athletic abilities. The linear sequential system proved to be compatible with the development of sports activities in general and the game of futsal in particular, and that spreading the spirit of fun, pleasure, breaking the routine and encouragement adopted by the linear sequential system and performing the exercises accurately and quickly and distinguishing them from each other led to the development of cognitive speed in students.
