The Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala discussed the master’s thesis entitled (The impact of the Libra strategy on the achievement of sixth grade students in science and their objective thinking
) in the specialization of science
teaching methods at the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala. The study presented by the student Nadia Muhammad Hassan al-Obeidi aimed to identify the impact of the Libra strategy on the achievement of sixth grade primary school students in the subject of science and their objective thinking.
The study reached a number of conclusions, the most prominent of which are: That the Libra strategy was applied in an educational context and took into account the mental abilities of sixth grade primary school students in science, however, its impact was weak in some aspects, so there were no differences.
The study recommended the need to urge education directorates to hold intensive training courses and teaching programs for science teachers in order to provide them with modern strategies in teaching learners.
The study suggested conducting research to assess the level of students’ practice of objective thinking in the different stages of schooling.
