Diyala University obtains third place in the Iraqi Universities Athletics Championship

With the participation of more than 45 public and private universities. Diyala University obtains third place in the Iraqi Universities Athletics Championship
With the direct support of the President of Diyala University, Prof. Dr. Tahsin Hussein Mubarak, and within the participation of Diyala University in the Iraqi Universities Athletics Championship (male and female students), which was held at the University of Baghdad for the period from 26-30/4/2025, the university’s female team won the third place in the teams with 74 points, with the participation of more than 45 government universities and private colleges, in addition to achieving advanced positions individually.
The Director of the Student Activities Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Samir Sabri Hassan, explained that achieving this achievement comes as a result of the continuous support of the President of the University and the Assistant President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Shaker Mazhar, as well as the great role of the training staff represented by Prof. Dr. Imad Kazem Ahmed and Prof. Dr. Osman Mahmoud Shahada and the participating students, stressing that the university will continue to achieve the best results and raise the name of the university in all forums and participations at the level of Iraqi universities.
