A teacher from Diyala Basic Education participates in the sixth international scientific conference of the Faculty of Arts at Al-Qadisiyah University
The teacher participated in the sixth international scientific conference held under the title (cognitive readings in the human and social sciences). Iftikhar Mazhar Ali from the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance at the Faculty of Basic Education – University of Diyala participated in the sixth international scientific conference held under the title (Cognitive Readings in the Humanities and Social Sciences) at the Department of Psychology at the Faculty of Arts – Qadisiyah University
Her scientific participation was represented in the presentation of her research entitled (The role of family counseling in addressing the issue of divorce and protecting the family) and the research aimed to identify the concept of divorce, as well as identifying the role of family counseling in addressing the issue of divorce.
The research recommended the need to urge universities in the country’s governorates to hold a university conference at the level of Iraq with the participation of the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Judicial Council, the Ministry of Women, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Rights and the Ministry of Interior to face the increasing family issues, especially divorce, and to introduce a course in secondary schools (the basics of family life) for male and female students that includes clarifying the foundations of married life, family formation, partner selection, duties and marital rights to build healthy families, and that media institutions, governmental associations and civil society organizations spread family awareness for married and unmarried people and warn against
