During his meeting with the President of University, His Excellency the Minister of Education praised the university’s progress

As part of institutional communication aimed at improving the educational process, the President of Diyala University, Prof. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, met today, Wednesday 26 November 2025, with His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, to congratulate him on his election to the Iraqi Council of Representatives. The visit was marked by mutual appreciation and shared interest in the future of university education.
During the meeting, a number of issues related to the educational process at Diyala University were discussed, with His Excellency the Minister affirming his full support for the university and his keen interest in supporting its efforts to promote academic and administrative development, praising its achievements that contribute to raising its status among Iraqi universities.
His Excellency expressed his appreciation for the steps taken by the President of the University and its staff in implementing plans for scientific advancement and community service, stressing that Diyala University is a model for institutions that meet quality requirements and work as a team.
The meeting reflected a shared vision to continue supporting programmes, faculties and infrastructure projects, thereby enhancing the university’s ability to create a sound educational environment that meets the requirements of academic development and serves both students and society.
