Inst. Kadum Publishes a Q1 Research
A teacher from Diyala Basic Education gets acceptance to publish a research paper in an American journal within the Scopus Q1
Teacher Kazem Adel Hadi, who teaches in the Science Department at the Faculty of Basic Education – University of Diyala, received acceptance to publish his research in the field of immunological diseases resulting from bacterial poisoning from an American journal in the first quarter in partnership with Professor Dr. Shaima Jabbar Risan from Basra University.
The study aimed to isolate and characterize the bacterial serotype E.coli: O157: H 7 from patients with chronic urinary tract infection and acute renal failure, and then extracted toxin from them and studied its immunological effects on immune lymphocytes in the blood and its ability to induce apoptosis of immune cells due to its high ability to induce injury and death of healthy immune cells, and confirm the biochemical and molecular diagnosis of the bacterial strain by culture on selective culture media, nucleotide sequencing and PCR assays.
The study came up with a number of results, most notably: The most common age group for immune diseases caused by this bacterial toxin is over 50 years old, and the proportion of males was higher than females in both kidney failure and chronic urinary tract infection.
