
Lecturers from Basic Education Participate in a Ministry Committee
Diyala at the heart of ministerial work… Active participation of college faculty members in a ministerial evaluation committee for the scientific and academic reality of the College of Basic Education/Modern Education at the University of Anbar
On behalf of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, two faculty members from the College of Basic Education at the University of Diyala, Prof. Dr. Hatem Jassim Aziz and Prof. Dr. Hamid Sadiq Mahdi, participated in the work of the ministerial committee tasked with evaluating the scientific and academic reality at the College of Basic Education/Haditha at the University of Anbar in Anbar Province.
This assignment was part of the ministry’s efforts to promote academic quality standards and improve the educational environment in higher education institutions. The committee began its fieldwork by visiting the college and meeting with administrative and academic leaders, as well as reviewing the study programs and infrastructure and their compliance with national and international academic accreditation standards.
The committee members praised the efforts made by the host college and presented a set of recommendations aimed at developing academic performance and raising the quality of education in line with the vision and strategic plans of the Ministry of Higher Education.
It is worth noting that the participation of faculty members from the College of Basic Education at the University of Diyala in such committees is a recognition of their scientific competence and academic standing, and comes within the framework of cooperation between higher education institutions to achieve integration in the development of the educational process.
This effort is in line with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, which is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all and promote lifelong learning opportunities, confirming the commitment of academic institutions to their pivotal role in advancing society through education.
