Mr. Dean Follows up the Work on a building for the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

Launching work on a special building annex project with service facilities for the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences in Diyala Basic Education
Within the steps of the Deanship of the College of Basic Education at Diyala University in achieving the goals of sustainable development to raise community awareness of this, and using the summer vacation to develop the service structures in the college.
On Thursday morning, 12/6/2025, the Deanship of the College of Basic Education announced the start of work on a project to establish a new building annex that includes modern changing rooms and bathrooms for college students, as part of the plan to develop infrastructure and improve the educational and sports environment on campus, as directed by the University Presidency and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in accordance with the directives of the University Presidency and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The project aims to create service facilities that are compatible with the academic and training needs of students, especially during practical classes and sports activities that require the availability of suitable places for changing clothes and showering.
“This project comes within the framework of the college’s continuous endeavor to provide an ideal educational environment that meets modern standards and meets the requirements of our dear students in the practical and applied aspect of their studies,” said Dr. Ayman Abdul Awn, Dean of the College.
The project includes the construction of an annex building equipped with all health and service requirements, taking into account modern engineering and technical aspects in terms of ventilation, water systems, and public safety.
The project is expected to be completed in the coming months, to be inaugurated and ready for use by the beginning of the new academic year
