
Mr. Minister of Higher Education Honors the Excellent
Exemption of high achievers from the age requirement for applying to central admission and inclusion of students who have not completed their studies with a year of failure
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, has decided to allow students who graduated from preparatory school in the 2024/2023 academic year with a grade point average of at least 90 and who were born 1995 and above to apply for the central admission form for the 2026/2025 academic year in all government and private specializations, as an exception to the age requirement, in recognition of their academic excellence and in appreciation of their academic aspirations.
In the same context, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, issued a decision to include students in the pre-final stages who will be promoted to the 2025/2024 academic year with a year of non-failure, in order to address emergency cases that prevented them from successfully passing the academic year.
In this regard, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research affirms that the decisions come in the context of its strategy aimed at empowering students, motivating high achievers, and overcoming obstacles for all segments of students, thereby reinforcing its mission and academic goals.
