Studying in Iraq bears fruit
Diyala University welcomes Arab PhD researcher and promotes academic openness
In a move to strengthen its position as a regional academic destination, the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayman Abdul Aoun, welcomed one of the Arab students accepted under the ministerial ‘Study in Iraq’ initiative. The student was nominated to pursue his doctoral studies in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the college, in the presence of the scientific assistant, Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Baqi Abbas, and the Division of Graduate Studies, Missions, Cultural Relations and Scientific Affairs.
The Dean welcomed the Arab student, emphasising that Iraq is his second home and that the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala pays great attention to international students by providing a stimulating academic environment that guarantees them opportunities for success and full integration, just like their Iraqi colleagues.
