The College of Basic Education, the counseling unit, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Division, organized a scientific seminar entitled (Family violence, its causes and ways to deal with it from a social perspective) The seminar was presented by lecturer M.M. Nian Younis Darakhan
The seminar included several axes, the first axis included the definition and forms of family violence
The second axis is the causes and motives of family violence
The third axis is strategies to combat family violence
and the conclusion included several recommendations, including raising awareness among community members about the seriousness of family violence and the need to change it, education and sex education and
