The gateway to the future opens once again… Diyala University welcomes students applying for direct admission tests in the fourth batch for the kindergarten and physical education and sports science departments
With high-level organisation and specialised academic supervision, the Faculty of Basic Education at Diyala University conducted direct admission tests for the fourth batch of students applying for the academic year (2025-2026) in the departments of Physical Education and Sports Science and Kindergarten.
The tests witnessed a large turnout of students wishing to join the college through direct admission, amid an excellent organisational atmosphere, where accurate testing mechanisms were adopted to ensure fairness and transparency in the evaluation of applicants, in line with the nature of each department.
The types of tests included the following: Physical Education and Sports Science Department: Physical, skill and psychological tests were conducted to assess the student’s physical fitness and psychological and skill readiness.
Applicants to the Kindergarten Department underwent achievement tests, communication skills tests, and personal interviews to measure their educational abilities and readiness to deal with early childhood.
The tests were conducted under the direct supervision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jalil Saba, and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Omar Rahman Al-Arki, and were monitored by the committees responsible for conducting the tests and the academic departments. Emphasis was placed on providing a suitable testing environment and ensuring fairness and equal opportunities for all applicants, in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
This step comes within the framework of the college’s efforts to achieve the 17 sustainable development goals approved by the United Nations, especially the fourth goal: ‘Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.’ The college seeks to select the most qualified students who possess the scientific, psychological and social qualities to enrol in higher education and contribute to building a bright future for the country.
