The President of Diyala University, Prof. Dr. Tahsin Hussein Mubarak, received today, Monday, 19/5/2025, the ministerial committee for the creation of colleges and scientific departments at the university.
During his tour with the ministerial committee, in which he was accompanied by his scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Amer Mohammed Ibrahim: He added that the university’s ambitious plan aims to invest knowledge in colleges and departments that meet the requirements of the labor market and in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development, and carry the elements of success and academic rigor, stressing the university’s keenness to be proactive in the field of information technology, through its endeavor to develop the College of Artificial Intelligence and a group of scientific departments in the various formations of the university, as well as the development of the College of Nursing and the College of Pharmacy.
The visit of the ministerial committee included the computer laboratories in the College of Engineering and the building of the College of Artificial Intelligence, and listened in detail from those in charge of the development file. The committee also visited the College of Administration and Economics and reviewed in detail the file on the development of the accounting department and inspected the buildings allocated to it, and the visit included the College of Basic Education and reviewed the preparations of the college to develop the kindergarten department, in addition to visiting the colleges of science and pure science and reviewed in detail the preparations necessary to develop new scientific departments in them.
