Science Department organized scientific seminar on development and advancement of societies through the science of nanotechnology applications  in humanitarian and medical science

Within the curriculum Activities of Science Department for  the first semester and  under sponsored by Assistant Professor Dr. Haidar Shakir Mezher , Dean of college , and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Munther Mubdar Abdul Karim , Head of Science Department, department held a  scientific seminar entitled  (the development and advancement of societies through the science of nanotechnology applications in the humanities ]  and medical sciences ) and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mazen Abdul Rasoul , Associate Dean for scientific Affairs , and a number of heads of departments and lecturers and students

the scientific seminar was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mustafa Ahmed Rajab, member staff at the Technical Institute in Baquba, Aimed to the knowledge of science nanotechnology techniques applications in the medical and humanitarian and engineering fields and the effect on the life of the community since there are positive and negative effects of this technology on human health and behavior of society

The seminar included a number of issues, including the definition of the science of nanotechnology and how medical and humanitarian uses and the negative effects of this technology on human health as well as discuss the future probabilities for this technology in the fields of military and maintaining the security of the community

The seminar extract some recommendations,  the introduction of the topic of nanotechnology within the curriculum of the Department of Science especially in  physics ,  as one of syllabus of  the College of Education , As well as invest all modern techniques in guiding studies of under-graduation students to enter in this scientific field and thus invested in community service and keep up with scientific development in the world

At the end of the seminar, the Dean of college presented a certificate of appreciation to the lecturer in appreciation of scientific effort to enrich the topic of the seminar
