The College Council Takes Place

This morning, Monday, 23-12-2024, the Council of the College of Basic Education held its regular session under the chairmanship of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasser Rashid, and in the presence of the members of the Council.
He started the meeting by welcoming the members of the council, wishing everyone success in performing their duties to serve our college and ensure the success of the scientific process.
He also directed the need to work in a team spirit to maintain the scientific status achieved by the College of Basic Education. The meeting discussed the directives of the Honorable President of the University about the media, seminars and activities in the college’s media sites.
The meeting discussed the final exams for the first semester that the college is going through in this period and emphasized the commitment to timing, monitoring and the use of an integrated electronic system of cameras to monitor the exams. The Board also discussed the initiation of postgraduate studies for the Department of Computing and the introduction of the department’s name.
The board discussed the renewal of the subscription to the Fina system, preparing the necessary tests and starting them for graduate students, and starting to receive sick cases from the Diyala Health Presidency.
At the conclusion of the session, the meeting discussed the follow-up of the work of the divisions and units in the college and coordination between them in order to achieve efficiency in performance and effectiveness in work and also discussed a number of administrative and financial issues of the college.
