Joint cooperation between the College of Basic Education and the Ministry of Migration and Displacement on raising awareness about the dangers of drugs
Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasser Rashid, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Migration and Displacement – Diyala Governorate Branch, an awareness campaign was held to spread awareness among students about the dangers of drugs and their negative impact on society.
The campaign included the distribution of awareness brochures on the harmful effects of drugs on mental and physical health, as well as their destructive impact on the future of young people and their role in building society. The brochures also included advice and guidance for students on how to stay away from this dangerous scourge.
During the campaign, the Dean stressed the importance of joint cooperation between academic institutions and government agencies to spread cultural and health awareness, noting that the college will spare no effort in organizing similar events aimed at protecting youth from dangerous behaviors.
The campaign received a positive response from the students, who expressed their appreciation for the efforts exerted to raise their awareness of the dangers of drugs and their role in building a conscious and strong society free from this scourge.
