Under the slogan “Children of Basic Education today … Pillars of Iraq and humanity tomorrow”, the College of Basic Education organizes its annual scout camp

Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rahman Nasser Rashid… The College of Basic Education – Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences organized its annual scout camp under the slogan (Children of Basic Education today … Pillars of Iraq and humanity tomorrow) and in the gardens and park between the two bridges. The opening, which was attended by a visiting professor from the Arab Republic of Egypt and faculty members, included reading verses from the Holy Quran and words of praise and prayers for mercy for the souls of our righteous martyrs.
The camp included many activities and sports participation, such as raising the Iraqi flag, air rifle shooting, and Shatraj competitions, as well as artistic, poetic, literary and recreational competitions.
The participants in the preparation, organization and implementation of the camp with the participation of the Dean and the guest professors shared with them the activities of the camp from the principle of participation, familiarity and cooperation between all. At the conclusion of the camp activities, all guests, headed by the esteemed Dean, expressed their thanks and admiration for the effort, capabilities and cooperation provided by the professors, staff and students of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences to achieve and succeed the scout camp.
