Amidst a highly organized atmosphere and intense administrative and academic interest, the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala conducted physical and skill admission tests this morning for students applying to the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the 2025-2026 academic year. under the direct supervision of the college dean and with close monitoring by the relevant testing committee.
The tests, which were held in designated halls and playgrounds on campus, were attended by a large number of students aspiring to join the department, who underwent a series of physical and skill assessment exercises in accordance with the standards approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
In a special statement to the Media Division, the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ayman Abdul Aoun, emphasized that the college is keen to adopt precise scientific and professional standards in the admission process, ensuring the selection of the most competent and prepared candidates to continue their studies in physical education and sports science. He pointed out the importance of these tests in revealing the motor skills and physical fitness of students.
For his part, the head of the Physical Education and Sports Science Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Nasir Hamid Karim, explained that the committee supervising the tests includes a group of professors specializing in movement sciences, measurement, and sports evaluation, which enhances the credibility and objectivity of the results.
The college provided all the logistical, technical, and medical requirements to ensure that the tests ran smoothly and safely, with full compliance with preventive and health measures, and the creation of a suitable and stimulating environment for students.
