Establishment of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Mosul… Minister of Education launches new opportunities for students in the 2025/2026 central admission process
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, has approved the establishment and launch of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Mosul.
The Minister of Education decided to include the new college in the application form for central admission for the year 2026/2025, so that students who have graduated from the first and second cycles of preparatory studies can apply to it in accordance with the requirements of eligibility and competition based on their grade point average and total score.
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research explains that the establishment of the Batoul College of Medicine at the University of Mosul allows students to modify and confirm their choices on the central admission form if they apply to it.
It is worth noting that the Faculty of Medicine in Mosul was established in 1959 and that this new specialized formation will contribute to giving the university additional scientific momentum by attracting students and expanding the paths of medical training that meet the needs of society and the health sector.
