
A visit of confidence… University committee praises Diyala’s performance in direct admission procedures and commends its discipline and precision in its work
This morning, the Faculty of Basic Education at Diyala University welcomed a university committee responsible for monitoring direct admission procedures in scientific departments, within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s guidelines aimed at ensuring the integrity and transparency of admission processes in higher education institutions.
During its inspection tour, the committee reviewed the working mechanisms of the examination committees for scientific departments that rely on direct admission, where the quality of the examinations, the mechanisms for evaluating applicants, and the documentation of results, in order to ensure equal opportunities for applicants and their fulfillment of the approved academic requirements and standards.
The tour also included a visit to the college’s registration department, where the procedures for receiving files, verifying documents, and setting admission requirements were examined and compared with the ministerial regulations and instructions in force. The committee praised the organization of work within the department and the high level of coordination between the various committees and those involved in admissions.
The committee was accompanied on its visit by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Omar Rahman Al-Arki, and the Administrative Assistant, Prof. Wissam Jalil Saba, who provided a detailed explanation of the college’s plan for implementing the admission stages and ensuring the smooth and accurate running of the process.
In a statement, Mr. Al-Arki, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, emphasized that the college is “keen to apply all instructions issued by the ministry with transparency and professionalism, while ensuring a fair and organized administrative environment that respects students’ aspirations and rights.” He also praised the great efforts made by the technical and administrative committees to ensure the success of the admission process.
