
The results of the second round are on the faculty council table
Decisive decisions and academic destinies are carefully mapped out to achieve academic fairness and quality outcomes.
The Faculty of Basic Education Council at the University of Diyala held its regular meeting chaired by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abdulbaqi Abbas, who represented the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ayman Abdul Aoun, to manage the proceedings of the meeting, in the presence of the members of the Faculty Council, to discuss the results of the second round for undergraduate and graduate students for the academic year (2024-2025).
The meeting began with a comprehensive presentation of student performance in the second round, presented by the examination committees, including success rates and the general distribution of grades, with an analysis of the special cases of students who were academically struggling or who had critical circumstances that affected their participation in the exams. Each case was discussed separately to ensure fairness and the application of the approved ministerial regulations.
The Council also addressed the results of graduate students, evaluating their academic and research progress during the semester, highlighting the strengths and challenges facing students and academic committees, and making a set of recommendations to support the research process and motivate students to achieve qualitative excellence.
The Council issued clear decisions on handling exceptional cases of students and emphasized compliance with all examination and assessment instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, while maintaining the principle of academic fairness and equal opportunities in student assessment.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs emphasized that the college prioritizes ensuring strong and fair educational outcomes, while supporting students in overcoming difficulties within the legal framework.
