
Basic Education Students Shine in Innovative Science
As part of the cultural activities organised by the Student Activities Division for the current academic year, the Student Activities Division at the Faculty of Basic Education, in coordination with the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, the Continuing Education Division, and the Media and Government Communications Division, a distinguished scientific competition in which students from the department participated with the aim of promoting scientific culture and developing their critical thinking and scientific analysis skills.

The competition featured a variety of scientific questions in the fields of anatomy, sports physiology, sports training, health, nutrition, and general culture.
The event was held in a positive competitive atmosphere, reflecting the high scientific level of the students, in the presence of a number of teachers who praised the participants’ performance and their great enthusiasm in enriching the competition with accurate information.
At the end of the event, the jury announced the results, with the second stage team winning first place and the fourth stage team coming in second. All participating students were honoured in recognition of their scientific efforts and active contribution to such scientific activities that promote academic culture.
This initiative is in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all, and Goal 3 on good health and well-being, by encouraging students to acquire health and sports knowledge that contributes to a balanced lifestyle.
