The Arabic Language Department at Diyala University honours two lecturers from outside the department in recognition of their efforts in teaching doctoral students
Amidst an atmosphere filled with joy, happiness and delight, the Arabic Language Department at the college honoured Professor Dr. Bushra Enad Mubarak and Assistant Professor Dr. Haifa Abdulkhaliq Ahmed in recognition of their outstanding academic efforts in teaching doctoral students and their contributions to supporting the academic progress of the department.
This honour was a joint initiative by the Head of the Arabic Language Department and the doctoral students, in recognition of the prominent academic role played by the two lecturers during the semester and their efforts to raise the level of research and study and enhance the skills of the students.
In his speech on this occasion, the Head of the Arabic Language Department, Prof. Hamid Abdul Ibrahim, expressed his deep gratitude to the two lecturers, emphasising that this honour is a message of gratitude to all those who contribute to the educational process and leave a clear mark in building the capacities of our students and empowering them in terms of knowledge and research.
For their part, Professor Dr. Bushra Enad Mubarak and Assistant Professor Dr. Haifa Abdulkhaliq Ahmed expressed their delight at this initiative, praising the spirit of cooperation between the academic departments and emphasising that supporting postgraduate students is a shared responsibility that contributes to the development of the academic environment and the consolidation of scientific research at the college.
This initiative comes within the framework of promoting a culture of scientific partnership between departments and enshrining the values of mutual respect and appreciation of efforts, which positively reflects on the quality of higher education.
In the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this honour is directly in line with Goal 4: Quality Education, which emphasises the importance of providing a stimulating educational environment, recognising teaching excellence, and empowering and supporting students in their academic careers to achieve quality university outcomes.
