For the second consecutive day, the National Institutional Accreditation team continues its inspection tours in Diyala to consolidate academic quality standards
For the second consecutive day, the National Institutional Accreditation Team continues its field visits to the departments of the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala, with the aim of following up on the implementation of quality requirements and assessing the levels of administrative and academic performance in the various departments, divisions and units within the faculty.
Today’s visit by the ministerial team included a number of divisions and units in the office of the academic assistant and the office of the assistant dean for student affairs, as well as administrative units, some academic departments, and the faculty library. During the tour, accompanied by the Dean and his assistants, the team reviewed the work mechanisms followed, the documents related to accreditation standards, and ways to enhance the university environment that supports teaching and learning, while emphasising the importance of continuing to develop academic programmes and improve the quality of outputs.
At the end of the tour, the national assessment team recorded their professional observations on the reality of the procedures followed in the college’s formations in accordance with institutional accreditation standards, praising the accuracy and organisation of the college’s procedures and the level of commitment to quality standards that they observed on the ground.
In a related context, this activity contributes to the achievement of a number of sustainable development goals, most notably Goal 4 (Quality Education) through enhancing the quality of academic programmes, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through cooperation between the college and the evaluating bodies, thereby promoting development and ensuring the sustainability of institutional improvement.
