As a step towwards cooperation with the establishments in the provine, a children football competiton was held at Basic Education. About 8 teams took part in the competition. 

Prof. Dr. Abdulrahman Nasir, the dean of Basic Education, has headed a ministerial committee to visit The open Colleges at (Baghdad, Diyala, Anbar, Babil) so as to check what had been achived according to the recommendations of the previous committees.
