
A scientific seminar entitled The Role of Social Media in Increasing Family Problems
The Faculty of Basic Education, Department of Psychological Counseling, in cooperation with the Division of Continuing Education, organized a scientific seminar entitled (The Role of Social Media in Increasing Family Problems) with the participation of a number of faculty members and students.
The seminar, which was lectured by Dr. Iftikhar Mazhar Ali, aimed to identify the impact of communication sites on the family.
The seminar included a discussion of several axes, the first axis presented the identification of social media, the second axis explained family issues, while the third axis addressed the manifestations of the impact of communication sites on the family, and the fourth axis included how to reduce the risks of communication sites on family relationships. The seminar recommended the need to follow strategies to protect family relationships through effective communication and engagement in family activities, the role of fathers and mothers in promoting the values and standards of society and its stability, being an example in adhering to these values and standards, setting specific times for using communication sites, and dealing with individuals with caution and awareness to maintain privacy and stay away from family issues and get rid of tensions and conflicts in the family.
