The identity of thought and the memory of civilisation are reflected in the International Arabic Festival, with the participation of teachers from Diyala and a notable academic presence
In an academic setting overflowing with pride in language and identity, Dr. Wafa Masoud Aziz, a lecturer in the Arabic Language Department at the Faculty of Basic Education, University of Diyala, participated in the events of the International Arabic Language Day Festival organised by the Arabic Language Department at the Imam Kazim (peace be upon him) Faculty – Diyala Departments, under the slogan: Arabic Language: Identity of Thought and Memory of Civilisation.
This active participation was the culmination of a distinguished scientific and cultural presence, crowned by her receiving an honorary shield from the Dean of the College in recognition of her academic efforts and contribution to serving the Arabic language and promoting its status in the university environment.
The festival included various cultural and literary segments that expressed the depth and beauty of the Arabic language, with academic speeches and poems extolling the charm of Arabic and its civilisational and cultural role throughout the ages. as well as a documentary report highlighting the history of the Arabic language and its status among the languages of the world, alongside a photo exhibition depicting aspects of Arab and Islamic heritage. The presence of distinguished media figures added a broad communicative dimension to the events.
