Based on the college dean’s keenness to provide a safe and suitable university environment for our dear students and all college staff, the members of the Follow-up and Security Unit continue to perform their daily tasks with a high spirit of commitment and discipline, embodying the highest meanings of dedication and sincerity in their work.
The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Omar Rahman Al-Arki, praised the outstanding efforts of the security unit staff, emphasizing that their vital tasks contribute directly to the stability of university life and ensure the smooth running of the educational and administrative processes. He also praised the unit’s staff for their high level of professionalism and humane treatment of students and visitors, noting that the deanship continues to support and develop this unit as it represents a fundamental pillar in the college’s institutional structure.
In a special statement to the college’s media division, Assistant Professor Dr. Ihab Nafea Kamel, head of the Monitoring and Security Unit, said:
“We in the Monitoring and Security Unit work as a team, relying on discipline and complete readiness to serve the college and its students. We consider ourselves part of this academic edifice, and we are proud of our national and humanitarian duty. We always strive to develop our skills and improve our performance in line with the dean’s directives and aspirations.”
He added that the unit is keen to cooperate with all administrative and teaching departments to provide a university environment where order and safety prevail, emphasizing that serving students is the ultimate goal of their daily work.
These efforts come in the context of the college’s commitment to achieving the sixteenth Sustainable Development Goal, which states:
“Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all, and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.”
Through its support for the security unit, the college seeks to consolidate the concepts of community peace and promote a culture of order and belonging among all its members.
