Master’s thesis at Diyala University discusses the evaluation of Arabic language teachers’ performance in primary schools in light of creative thinking skills
The Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala discussed a master’s thesis entitled ‘Evaluating the performance of primary school Arabic teachers in light of creative thinking skills’ in the field of Arabic language teaching methods.
The study, presented by student Uday Abdulqadir Hussein, aimed to assess the performance of primary school Arabic language teachers in light of creative thinking skills. The study was limited to a sample of primary school Arabic language teachers in the central district of Baquba, Diyala Province, for the academic year 2024-2025. Diyala Governorate for the academic year (2024-2025).
The study reached a number of conclusions, most notably: that the performance of Arabic language teachers in light of creative thinking skills in general was not at the required level. There was a clear weakness in the performance of Arabic language teachers in the area of originality.
The study recommended the adoption of an observation form prepared by the researcher in light of creative thinking skills to evaluate Arabic language teachers by educational supervisors, thereby enhancing educational performance at the primary level. It also recommended spreading a culture of creative thinking and skills in Arabic language teaching, which would contribute to good performance in Arabic language teaching at the primary level.
