
For the second day in a row… The ministerial committee continues its work at Diyala University and raises the bar for scientific and academic excellence
For the second day in a row, the ministerial committee responsible for evaluating the scientific and academic situation in Iraqi universities continues its visit to the Faculty of Basic Education at the University of Diyala, as part of the field visits carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to assess performance quality and the achievement of academic accreditation standards in educational institutions.
The visit, which began yesterday morning, Monday, September 22, 2025, and continued until the end of the official working hours on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, was headed by Prof. Dr. Jabran Iskandar Rafiq from the University of Anbar, and included a group of distinguished academics, namely: Prof. Dr. Samer Abdul-Kazim Jalab, Prof. Dr. Zeina Jabbar Al-Asadi, and Prof. Dr. Ibtisam Jafar Jawad from the University of Babylon, along with Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rajab Muhammad from the University of Anbar.
The ministerial committee was received by Assistant Professor Dr. Ayman Abdul Aoun, Dean of the College, accompanied by his assistants and the heads of the scientific departments, who accompanied the committee members on a field tour that included classrooms, laboratories, the central library, and administrative and service facilities, in addition to reviewing scientific and administrative files, study plans, and performance reports.
During the visit, the ministerial committee praised the advanced level demonstrated by the college in terms of academic performance and administrative organization, confirming that the college has provided an advanced model in the application of quality standards and a clear commitment to developing the educational environment in line with the requirements of national institutional accreditation.
