The preparations included the complete refurbishment of classrooms in terms of cleanliness, maintenance, and the provision of modern educational tools, providing students with an interactive environment that meets the requirements of modern curricula.
The academic schedules were also updated to strike a balance between theory and practice, in coordination with the teaching staff to provide the best curricula and teaching methods based on interactive and digital education.
In a special statement, Dr. Sahib Abdullah Hamad, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Department, said:
“The department is keen to make the new academic year a starting point for further academic excellence. We have worked over the past period to improve the educational environment in line with the requirements of university development and to meet students’ aspirations for a modern and effective university education.”
The head of the department pointed out the importance of integration between academic and administrative aspects in supporting the educational process, emphasizing that the department opens its doors to all students and teaching staff to create an environment of joint scientific dialogue that enhances the level of university performance.
These efforts are in line with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, which calls for “ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all,” as the Department of Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance strives to achieve this goal.
