The university president honors the top student in Iraq in the scientific field and praises her efforts in achieving this accomplishment
As part of his ongoing commitment to scientific achievement, the President of Diyala University, Prof. Tahseen Hussein Mubarak, honored Iraq’s top student in the scientific field, Ruqaya Fadel Mohsen, at his office on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
In a speech during the meeting, the university president said that the university believes in honoring outstanding students in their scientific careers, believing that such honors create incentives for creativity at various levels and instill a spirit of giving and belonging to the homeland.
He noted that this honor represents an important step toward supporting and encouraging students to excel academically and promoting a spirit of positive competition. He also praised her efforts during her years of study and wished her further success in her future life.
For her part, the top student in Iraq expressed her gratitude to the university president for his continuous efforts and support for his students to achieve excellence.
This activity achieved one of the sustainable development goals, namely Goal 4, which calls for quality education.
